What is Profhilo ?

How does profhilo work?

As intimated previously, Profhilo® is an injectable solution. Hyaluronic acid is injected directly into the treated area, immediately attracting water for hydration and moisture. The hyaluronic acid then slowly releases over a prolonged period, ensuring enhanced collagen production within the body, leading to visible improvements in the skin’s elasticity.

A typical Profhilo® treatment will involve five injections on each side of the area that requires treatment, but rest easy if you’re squeamish around needles or have a low pain threshold; the slow treatment means that you’ll barely feel a thing, and the long-term effects of a single session mean that you will only need to return for a top-up occasionally.

Is Profhilo better than Botox?

“Better” will always be a subjective term, but there is no denying that Profhilo® has emerged as a highly credible alternative to Botox, which would arguably be described as the market leader in cosmetic surgery. Alternatively, these two procedures can live in harmony, used in tandem to create the ultimate aesthetic consideration.

The typical Profhilo® consumer is a woman aged 30 or over, but there is no upper – or lower–age limit on when the treatment can be sought, and male customers will be just as welcome. This arrangement will be a private transaction between you and your clinic of choice.
